Many people use some form of network marketing strategies to build their business and their strategies work to some extent however when you ask them how their business is going they almost always say things are going great!

However when you ask them how many new distributors they signed up last month you discover they have not registered anybody yet or they just signed up some family members and close friends and no one else beyond that.

Network Marketing is a numbers game, meaning new blood is the lifeblood of the business. If people struggle in their network marketing business it is always due to lack of leads.

If you want to make it big in network marketing and have regular sign-ups in your business you have to find ways of generating new leads that go beyond your warm contacts i.e. family and friends.

There are different network marketing strategies to generating new leads for your business and I want to discuss some of them.

To reach a large audience you could start doing massive amounts of cold market prospecting, that is people you don’t know.cold-marketnew

One of the old ways that was, and is, still taught in network marketing is the 3 foot rule, meaning offer the opportunity or products to everyone who comes within 3 feet of you.

This strategy has proven to be effective however this is not for the faint-hearted as you will face a lot of rejection, it is very time consuming and you are never relaxed when you step out the door.

In my opinion this strategy is not right for most people and only really works for people who are hungry or even desperate for success.

From personal experience when I first started and was looking at network marketing strategies I was taught this strategy and even though I did it but I didn’t enjoy it!

Besides there are much better network marketing strategies to generate leads where people come to you asking if they can join your business putting you in a much stronger position. Business becomes fun when this happens and it can happen every day for you too.

How is this possible I hear you asking?

Well instead of offline cold market prospecting the other option is to take your business online where you can reach massive audiences giving you a greater chance of generating leads daily.

socialmedia4Social Media is a goldmine for finding new customers for your products and new prospects for your opportunity however first you must learn the right way of prospecting on Social Media.

If you want to reach the top ranks of your company you will need to grow a massive online audience. The reason why a lot of people fail with online marketing is they don’t have a large audience, their audience generally consists of just their and friends.

How do you grow your audience? You have to become proactive and not wait for audience to come to you.

In my case on Facebook I first started reaching out to around 20 new people a day in the network marketing industry and sending them a friend request. Within 8 months my Facebook friends grew from 500 to maximum number allowed by Facebook to 5000.

In fact after about after 2 months I was getting so many friend requests from other people I stopped sending out friend requests.

You can then start direct messaging these new friends and start a conversation to build a relationship and then see if they could be interested in your network marketing opportunity or your products. Basically, this is your online version of cold market prospecting and it works much better than offline version however it is still very time-consuming.

You can get some good leads with this method however it’s still a slow method and as I said very time-consuming.

So, how can you easily generate fresh leads daily?

To answer this question first you need to understand 2 things.

1. People only buy from people they KNOW, LIKE and TRUST
2. People love buying things however they hate being sold to.

The best way to connect with people is to set up an automated system and make it easy for people to become your lead.Team

Setting up your automated system will take time and effort however it is a one time job and once set up your automated system will connect with your leads by automated emails and build rapport with your leads.

When setting up your lead capture page or lead magnet as it is becoming known these days you need to offer something of value in exchange for their email address. What you offer can be a free report, free video, free training, in fact the only thing to remember is the value must be tilted in their favor to reduce the resistance so they have no hesitation in giving you their email address.

This type of automated strategy is highly leveraged and allows you to build rapport with your leads whereby they get to know, like and trust you. Their resistance is lowered as much as possible.

In the online world the best strategies are highly-leveraged and automated and with this type of strategy, once set up correctly can bring in upwards of 100 or more leads daily.
