SAVE THE CHILDREN
Every since I can remember I have always had this feeling of setting up my own orphanage for street children and I am sure one day before I die I will set up the orphanage. In the meantime I have chosen the same charity as my mother SAVE THE CHILDREN as a memorial to our mother Darshan “Big Mum” Arora who passed away after losing a cancer battle.
Every day when my mother saw the TV ads for starving children in Africa it was her wish to be able to help save these children. My mother was not a wealthy woman however she sent whatever she had to the charity to try and save the children.
I think it is scandalous in this day and age to have so much poverty in the World when so much money is being spent on war every year. If, just for one year, the money that is spent on the war was redirected to help the poor we can eradicate poverty. However I don’t believe the Governments around the World will do this.
I believe it is the entrepreneurs and not the Governments that will change the world for the better!
I have chosen SAVE THE CHILDREN Charity as a memorial to our mother Darshan “Big Mum” Arora.
