It can be challenging when choosing Network Marketing company to partner with. I will give you some questions to ask to make sure you partner with a company that will give you the best chance to succeed and achieve your goals and dreams.
There are literally thousands of Network Marketing opportunities being advertised on Social Media, magazines, spam emails that you probably receive daily and from friends who believe they have found the best opportunity to make you wealthy.
It doesn’t matter whether you are looking for a part time opportunity to supplement your income or a full time career choosing the right company is critical to your success.
Sadly, too many people jump at opportunities based on the hype from some distributors without doing a proper due diligence before starting and then become quickly disappointed when their expectations are not met.
So, how do you separate facts from fiction and reality from fantasy to discover the true potential of the business?
I am going to give you some questions that you need to ask when doing your own due diligence before investing time and money.
There are many good opportunities and good companies however understand any REAL business will require effort. The rewards for those willing to work hard are truly life changing.
If an opportunity sounds too good to be true and you are promised riches without doing anything then run as fast as you can from that opportunity.
Here are some questions and the answers to these questions will help you decide if the opportunity is right for you and it it’s worth your time and money investment.
* How long has the company been in business?
* What is the company’s track record?
Personally I never look at start-up companies as most companies (Network Marketing AND traditional businesses) go out of business in the first 3 years. I prefer to look at companies more than 3 years old with a good track record of growth.
* If the company is a start-up company financially how strong is the company?
* Is the company well funded to deliver on their promises?
Don’t just believe what an over enthusiastic distributor may tell you check the facts!
* Check who the people are behind the company and if they have proven business expertise.
* What other businesses have they set up in the past and how successful were those businesses?
* What Network Marketing experience do they have?
* If they don’t have Network Marketing experience do they have an executive team with Network Marketing experience to guide them?
* What type of products do they have and do the products personally interest you?
* Would you buy and recommend the products to your family and friends even if there was no financial incentive to do so?
You will have a much greater chance to success if you can relate to the products and use the products yourself.
* What kind of support tools does the company provide to build your business?
These may be in the form of videos, audios, sales presentations, catalogs or as it is becoming more common these days a replicated website so you don’t even have to handle the products.
* Talking about products ask about product guarantee, what happens if the customer is not happy?
* Does the company stand behind the product and support you if your customer is not happy with the product?
Understand how your id in the website will be tracked so you get credit for the people you refer to your site. Of course you need to understand if there are any charges for the tools the company provides!
* What kind of training and support is provided?
This is critical as new people starting out in Network Marketing can’t do what they don’t know and need access to training and support.
* Most important of all, how do you make money?
Most Network Marketing companies will have have several ways to earn commissions. These can be in the form of retail commission, team commission for building a team, matching bonuses for helping your team succeed and other incentives like car programs and holiday lifestyle programs.
* Is the financial rewards program easy to understand?
* When and how will you get paid?
* Are there any monthly requirements or targets before you get paid?
Compensation plans can be complex however these days most companies create videos and detailed explanations of the plan to help even the novices understand how and what they need to do to get paid.

* WHO you will be working with in your new Network Marketing business?
Network Marketing is a new way of doing business for most people and different to what people are used to. For your success it is essential to find a good sponsor (upline) who will help you, train you, coach and mentor you. Someone who will be there for you when things are going well and also there to support you when things are not going well.
When you are choosing Network Marketing company don’t make a hasty decision based purely on emotion and gut feeling. Invest your time to do the research and get the facts before committing, the effort will be well worth it!
In Network Marketing you cannot succeed alone, it takes team effort, great products and a support system.
